OpenSports Sign-Up & Share Competition – Rebel Gift Voucher Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

 1. Promoter

The promoter is OpenSports Pty Ltd (ABN: ABN 44 118 594 504), trading as OpenSports.com.au (“the Promoter”).

2. 🏆 Prize Club/Group

A total prize of $1,000 in Rebel Sport Gift Vouchers will be awarded to one (1) winning club/group.

The winning club/group will be determined as the club/group profile post that receives the highest number of Facebook likes/loves on the official OpenSports Australia Facebook page by 12:00 pm (AEST) on 20 December 2025.

To be eligible, the club/group must have completed a full and accurate free club/group profile on OpenSports.com.au
and be featured as part of the giveaway campaign.

• Promotional Video Requirement (Club Winners)
  Acceptance of any prize is conditional upon the winning club providing a short video thanking OpenSports Australia for the Rebel voucher giveaway and acknowledging their success in the competition. The winning club grants OpenSports Australia permission to use this video for promotional and marketing purposes, including display on OpenSports.com.au and the official OpenSports Facebook page.

🏆 Prize Athletes

Five (5) individual athletes will each receive one (1) $100 Rebel Sport Gift Voucher.

Athlete winners will be determined based on the five athlete profile posts that receive the highest number of Facebook likes/loves on the official OpenSports Australia Facebook page by 12:00 pm (AEST) on 20 December 2025.

To be eligible, each athlete must have completed a full and accurate free athlete profile on OpenSports.com.au
and be featured as part of the giveaway campaign.

• Promotional Video Requirement (Athlete Winners)
  Acceptance of any prize is conditional upon the winning athlete providing a short video thanking OpenSports Australia for the Rebel voucher giveaway and acknowledging their success in the competition. The winning athlete grants OpenSports Australia permission to use this video for promotional and marketing purposes, including display on OpenSports.com.au and the official OpenSports Facebook page.

3. General Prize Conditions

Rebel Sport Gift Vouchers are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

OpenSports Pty Ltd reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any club or athlete that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or has provided incomplete or inaccurate profile information.

Winners will be contacted via the email address associated with their OpenSports profile within seven (7) days of the competition closing date.

In the event of a tie, OpenSports Pty Ltd reserves the right to determine the winner through a random draw among tied entrants.

4. Eligibility

• Entry is open to all Australian residents aged 13 years or older.
• Club/Group entries must represent a real sporting organisation, club, or community group based in Australia.
• Athlete entries must represent a real individual who has created an athlete profile on www.opensports.com.au.
• Employees or immediate family members of OpenSports Pty Ltd are not eligible to win.
• Past winners of any NavSports or OpenSports Australia competitions or givewaways are ineligle to enter current or future competitions or giveaways.

5. Competition Period

• Entrants are responsible for ensuring their Facebook privacy settings allow the Promoter to verify likes/loves.
• Any use of fake accounts, bots, or engagement manipulation will result in immediate disqualification.
• The Promoter reserves the right to verify the authenticity of likes/loves, shares, and profiles and to disqualify any participant found to be using fraudulent, automated, or misleading methods to increase engagement.
• The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or acts in a disruptive manner.

6. Privacy

All personal information collected will be handled in accordance with the OpenSports Privacy Policy and used solely for the purpose of administering this competition and contacting winners.

7. Disclaimer

• This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Meta Platforms Inc.
  Entrants understand they are providing their information to OpenSports Pty Ltd, not to Facebook.
  By participating, entrants release Facebook from any responsibility or liability related to this competition.
• This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Rebel Sport Limited.
  All Rebel Sport trademarks are the property of Rebel Sport Limited and are used here only to describe the nature of the prize.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpenSports Pty Ltd, its officers, employees, and agents are not responsible for and shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this competition, participation in it, or acceptance or use of any prize.
The Promoter will not be liable for any technical malfunctions, lost entries, unauthorised access, or other errors that may occur during the competition.

10. Modification or Cancellation

The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the competition if it becomes technically corrupted, interfered with, or otherwise not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated.
If the competition is cancelled, the Promoter is not obliged to award any prizes.

11. Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
